Have always been fascinated by the drawings of flowers and plants from museums, and at the shop at the Royal Botanic Gardens. It was awesome to attend Mali Moir’s Botanical Illustration at the NGV!  “Accurate Realism” is how she has put it–it is down to a science!  Measurements are done with an actual ruler, on tracing paper, then transferred to the actual paper, and shaded–from the lightest pencil to the darkest. Amazing!
