Digital abstract landscape, flat-layed

Strange times today.. how have you been holding up? 🙂 Hope we are healthy, hopeful, and not too anxious, in the time of global pandemic and coronavirus quarantine. Have been aiming to be productive—learning a few tricks from @clairbremner and @seandalt’s @skillshare lessons 🙂 Flatlay photography and abstract painting of landscapes, they’re pretty cool!

Those two giraffes

An artwork of giraffes. Still working with the inspiration I had on a visit to the Melbourne zoo: drawing animals!

Autumn in Melbourne

Got inspiration while doing a hike at the Dandenong Ranges. The beautiful colours of autumn!

Jungle Safari

Designed the invite for my godson Zac’s baptism. Added in animals–giraffes, zebras and an elephant–and put in leaves of various colours.

Jean and Phil’s Wedding Giveaway

My friend Jean got married to Phil the past month, and she has asked me to create a design for their wedding giveaway. This has been printed on their totebags! “Mabuhay” is a Filipino word for long live, or cheers!

Sunny Philippine Beach

My social media feeds from the past month were filled with news of bushfires, a volcano eruption, a helicopter crash, and the virus outbreak.. 😰 Sending good vibes, prayers and happy thoughts for this new month of February! ❤️

An Aussie Pelican

Got some inspiration from a visit to the zoo a couple of weekends ago. Will make a series of paintings for this–shall be drawing animals! First up, a pelican!

Flowers for Planner Gals Pals

I met new friends from a Vogue Codes event a few months ago–Olya and Sharon. We had several working sessions where we tried putting up a planner for ladies. Olya was managing the project, Sharon was doing the calligraphy, and I was to take care of the art per month. The project was put on hold, but this is one of the illustrations I came up with.. flowers!
