Jean and Phil’s Wedding Giveaway
My friend Jean got married to Phil the past month, and she has asked me to create a design for their wedding giveaway. This has been printed on their totebags! “Mabuhay” is a Filipino word for long live, or cheers!

My social media feeds from the past month were filled with news of bushfires, a volcano eruption, a helicopter crash, and the virus outbreak.. 😰 Sending good vibes, prayers and happy thoughts for this new month of February! ❤️
Got some inspiration from a visit to the zoo a couple of weekends ago. Will make a series of paintings for this–shall be drawing animals! First up, a pelican!
I met new friends from a Vogue Codes event a few months ago–Olya and Sharon. We had several working sessions where we tried putting up a planner for ladies. Olya was managing the project, Sharon was doing the calligraphy, and I was to take care of the art per month. The project was put on hold, but this is one of the illustrations I came up with.. flowers!
My sister, Maud, paints murals on walls. This wall was a collaboration between her and another artist. I tagged along and helped her for a day, I worked on the kookabura. It was amazing to experience helping with one. Had no idea how much effort and the amount of work to finish a wall!
Wildflowers were scattered during our hikes. This is reminiscent of a few we’ve seen while going through the trails.
Made this while lounging at the top of a boat, I was doing art and he was working. We were hiking, then sailing, then hiking some more in Croatia.
Croatia was gorgeous! It was like a dream, riding on a boat to discover islands, mountains, and see more boats.
Joining the Exquisite Palette Show by St. Luke’s Colourmen, at the Tacit Gallery on June 6-July 7, 2018. This is my entry.
He was playing music on his piano–and so good at it too! It inspired me to draw using my iPad, soon after. This is his piano, and his music sheets.
